With a low vertical profile of 2.1 mm and diameter of 4.4 mm, the OT Equator is the smallest attachment system on the market. This system offers multiple solutions for overdenture treatment planning when vertical space limitations are a consideration.
Available in two versions, castable and prefabricated titanium abutments which are compatible with any implant brand on the market and manufactured with cuff heights from .5 mm to 7 mm. Female caps are retained by means of a stainless steel housing ranging in four levels of retention, making it easy to process at the dental laboratory or chair side in the dental office.
The unique design and exceptionally low 2.1 mm profile of the OT Equator 4 in 1 System provides exceptional stability and superior retention when compared with other attachment systems. Due to it's lower radius, OT Equator is indicated to correct divergence up to 28 degrees between implants without affecting the functionality of the nylon cap. This protocol is based on the low and narrow-profile OT Equator abutment. An innovative solution in terms of design and clinical applications. Equators are available and compatible for ALL brands, connections and diameters of implants currently on the market.
A wide choice of gingival cuff heights from 0.5 to 7mm makes for low profile aesthetics, one of many clinical benefits of the Equator OT Bridge Technique. Even unknown implants are recognized through our Custom Abutment Identification Service. This offers a sensible advantage to dentists, allowing them to simplify and eliminate the guess work when attempting to identify unknown implants in a timely fashion.
The versatility of OT Bridge technique allows the dental team to create a passive fixed screwed retained prosthetic thanks to the addition of the highly retentive Seeger ring components.
The systems uniquely designed Ti Base abutments make it also possible to overcome non-parallel implants up to 80° of divergence between two implants eliminating the use of traditional and costly angulated Multi-Unit Abutments.
Equators one abutment one time insertion allows for a higher implant-abutment connection as the protocol is made entirely on a single component. Once screwed into the implant, Equator is no longer removed hence avoiding damage to the biological barrier by keeping the implant isolated from the tissue.
This advantage leads to reduced chair time and better aesthetic results due to the smaller footprint of OT Equator abutments.
In addition, the presence of the conically shaped Seeger ring prevents possible unscrewing, fractures and can eliminate up to 25 % of unsightly screw channels in the aesthetic zone.
