Recognized as the “world-leading manufacturer of spherical attachments and implant components,” Rhein83 began its successful history more than 25 years ago with founder Ezio Nardi, a dental laboratory owner from Bologna, Italy. There he began designing a new line of root supported, castable spherical attachments for removable distal extension and overdenture prosthetics. His vision was to develop and begin manufacturing attachments that were small, cost effective, easy fabrication for the laboratory and simple chairside maintenance by the dentist.

In 1986, Ezio’s daughter Claudia joined the firm. Today, as President/CEO, Ms. Nardi oversees day-to-day business while directing the company’s international operations.

Gianni Storni, MDT, joined the company in 1989 with combined degrees in dental technology and design engineering. In his position as Partner/VP of Technology, Mr. Storni is an essential component behind the technical advancements of product development and continuing education programs.

Rhein83 currently holds 29 international patents, “CE” markings and FDA approvals for the United States, and is distributed and technically supported in more than 80 countries .

Rhein83 acknowledges the changing needs for technically advanced attachment systems and how the dentist and dental laboratory approach proper treatment planning for successful removable prosthetic case design. Educational programs are conducted on a regular basis at Rhein83’s corporate offices. Led by Mr. Storni and his team of technical experts, the company offers multilingual seminars and practical hands-on instruction for dentists, dental technicians and international dealers.

Located just 30 minutes from New York City in New Rochelle. Rhein83 USA is able to provide distribution to its domestic markets and North American dealer network. Recently, American Recovery Corp. joined Rhein83 USA in reciprocated collaboration broadening market awareness of the Rhein83 brand.
